Read the billing column first
A $49 monthly price and a $145 one-time price aren't the same kind of number. Monthly plans bill every 30 days until you pass or cancel. One-time plans charge once (resets aside). Bulenox's one-time qualification gives 30 days of access. Keep that in mind in every table below.
25K accounts

| Alpha Futures Zero | $89 | Monthly | $1,000 |
| Tradeify Growth | $99 | One-time | $1,000 |

| Bulenox Qualification | $145 | One-time (30 days) | $1,500 |
Topstep doesn't offer a 25K Combine; its sizes start at 50K.

Cost per $1,000 of drawdown
The drawdown is your real trading budget, so price per $1,000 of drawdown is a fairer comparison than price per account size. For a first month at 50K:
| Plan (50K) | First-month cost | Drawdown | Cost per $1,000 of drawdown |
|---|---|---|---|
| Topstep No Activation Fee | $95 | $2,000 | $47.50 |
| TradeDay Quick Pay Intraday | $125 | $2,000 | $62.50 |
| Alpha Futures Standard | $129 | $2,000 | $64.50 |
| Bulenox Qualification | $175 | Up to $2,500 | $70.00 |
| Tradeify Growth | $145 | $2,000 | $72.50 |
| Topstep Standard (incl. activation) | $198 | $2,000 | $99.00 |
After month one, every monthly plan's figure rises, while one-time plans stay put. Tradeify Growth becomes cheaper than Topstep's No Activation Fee path in month two.
Worked example: two months at 25K
Suppose you're a newer trader and expect it to take about two months to pass a 25K evaluation, with one reset along the way. Here's roughly what the three cheapest 25K options would cost:
- Tradeify Growth 25K: $99 one-time plus one $60 reset = $159.
- Alpha Futures Zero 25K: $89 a month for two months = $178, plus Alpha's $79 Zero 25K reset if you need one = $257.
- TradeDay Quick Pay Intraday 25K: $100 a month for two months = $200, plus a $45 reset = $245.
On sticker price, Alpha Zero looked cheapest. Over two months with a reset, the one-time plan comes out well ahead. Run the same sum with your own expected timeline before you buy, and remember that promo codes can change the result.
Which size should you buy?
Bigger accounts don't make passing easier. They come with bigger targets and bigger drawdowns in roughly the same proportion. A 25K account with a $1,000 drawdown and a $1,500 target asks for the same skill as a 50K account with a $2,000 drawdown and a $3,000 target, but costs less and caps your size. If you're still building consistency, the smallest size is usually the cheapest way to find out whether you can follow the rules. Trade micros such as MES or MNQ so a single stop-out uses only a small slice of the drawdown.
The cheapest plan isn't always the best value
- Drawdown type. TradeDay's cheapest plan uses an intraday trailing drawdown; its end-of-day version costs $175 at 50K. Bulenox's Option 1 is real-time trailing.
- Payout splits. TradeDay Quick Pay splits 50/50 until $4,000 profit, and Earn2Trade pays 50% until $2,250.
- Resets. A cheap entry with an expensive reset can cost more overall.
- Platform. Topstep's low price comes with TopstepX only.

Frequently asked questions
What is the cheapest futures prop firm evaluation?
The lowest sticker price we found was Alpha Futures Zero 25K at $89 a month. The lowest one-time price was Tradeify Growth 25K at $99.
What is the cheapest 50K evaluation?
Topstep's Standard path at $49 a month, though it adds a $149 activation fee when you pass. Its No Activation Fee path is $95 a month.
Are one-time evaluations better than monthly?
If you might take more than a month, one-time pricing usually costs less. If you're confident of passing quickly, monthly can be cheaper.
Do these prices include data fees?
Not always. Topstep includes Level 1 data and charges $38 a month for Level 2. Bulenox lists free non-professional Rithmic data.
Do promo codes change the rankings?
Often. Discounts are common, so compare the discounted total cost including activation fees and resets.
Is a bigger account better value?
Not necessarily. Targets and drawdowns scale together, so a larger account mostly lets you trade more contracts. The cost per $1,000 of drawdown is a better guide than the headline size.
Most evaluation participants do not pass. Only spend what you can afford to lose.
