My Funded Futures (MFFU) runs four standard plans, and each one bends the rules a different way. Rapid pays daily but switches to an intraday trailing drawdown once funded. Rapid EOD keeps an end-of-day drawdown but asks for a stricter consistency rule. Pro has no daily loss limit and pays every 14 days. Builder adds a soft daily stop and pays every 48 hours. This guide explains each rule as MFFU's plan pages and help center showed it on November 3, 2026. For prices and our verdict, read the My Funded Futures review.

Drawdown: which plans trail intraday
All four plans use a $2,000 end-of-day (EOD) max loss during the 50K evaluation. The big split comes after you pass.
- Rapid becomes intraday trailing on the sim funded account. MFFU's Rapid 50K article says the max loss "trails your account equity high-water mark during the day." Open profit counts, so a winner that reverses still raises your floor. It locks once it reaches $100, and you must keep at least that much.
- Rapid EOD stays EOD in both stages and locks at +$100.
- Pro stays EOD. It keeps trailing until your first approved payout, then locks permanently at the starting balance plus $100.
- Builder stays EOD. Its starting floors are $24,000, $48,000 ($48,500 with the add-on), $97,000 and $145,500, and it locks at $100.
Worked example: Rapid vs Rapid EOD, funded 50K
Say your floor sits $2,000 below your high. You open a trade that runs $700 in your favor, then reverses, and you close it for a $100 gain.
- On Rapid, the floor followed your equity up by $700 during the trade. You banked $100, so your room has shrunk from $2,000 to $1,400.
- On Rapid EOD, the floor only moves at the close. If that was your only trade, it moves up by the $100 you banked, and you still have $2,000 of room the next morning.
That gap is why traders who let winners breathe often prefer the EOD plans. Run your own numbers with our trailing drawdown calculator, and read EOD vs intraday trailing drawdown for the full comparison.
Daily loss limit
Rapid, Rapid EOD and Pro have no daily loss limit in either stage. Your only hard line is the max loss. Builder has a soft limit of $600, $1,000, $1,750 or $2,500 by size. Hitting it pauses trading for the session; the account is not breached. Plans without a daily stop give you more room on a volatile day, but nothing forces you to quit after a string of losers. Our daily loss calculator can help you set a personal limit. See also prop firms with no daily loss limit.
Consistency rules
MFFU uses a different consistency rule on each plan:
- Rapid: 50% in evaluation only. No single day can exceed half your evaluation profit.
- Rapid EOD: 30% in evaluation only. On a $3,000 target, a $1,200 day means you need $4,000 in total.
- Pro: 50% in evaluation only.
- Builder: none in evaluation, but 50% at the payout stage. A single day can't be more than half of the cycle's profit.
None of the plans apply a consistency rule to Rapid, Rapid EOD or Pro funded accounts. Our consistency rule explainer shows how to calculate the total you need after a big day.
Minimum trading days
Builder can pass in one day. Rapid and Pro need two days. Rapid EOD needs four. Once funded, Builder needs at least two qualifying days per 48-hour payout cycle. Pro and Builder accounts must place at least one trade every seven calendar days to stay active.
Contract limits and scaling
MFFU does not describe a scaling plan on any standard plan; you get the listed limit from the start. The published limits are:
- Rapid: 3 / 5 / 8 / 10 minis on 25K / 50K / 100K / 150K, per its account-size section. The same page's rules table also shows a lower set (2 / 3 / 6 / 8), so confirm in your dashboard.
- Rapid EOD: 2 minis on 25K; the 50K is listed as both 3 and 4 minis.
- Pro: 3 / 6 / 9 minis on 50K / 100K / 150K.
- Builder: 2 / 4 / 6 / 9 minis on 25K / 50K / 100K / 150K.
MFFU's Rapid article warns that exceeding the maximum "can result in a breach." Ten micros count as one mini. Our position size calculator shows how many contracts fit a $2,000 limit.
News, overnight and weekend rules
MFFU's fair-play policy says trading during Tier 1 economic data releases is restricted, but the plan pages differ:
- Rapid: the Rapid 50K help article allows Tier 1 news in evaluation but not on the sim funded account. The Rapid plan page's FAQ describes a window from 2 minutes before to 2 minutes after events such as CPI, NFP and FOMC.
- Pro: allowed in evaluation, not allowed once funded.
- Builder: allowed.
- Rapid EOD: the plan page lists both "Yes" and "Not allowed," so ask MFFU before trading releases.
On holding, the Rapid plan page says overnight holds are not permitted and all positions must be closed before the daily session close. The other plan pages we checked don't address overnight or weekend holding, so confirm with MFFU. Our economic calendar guide explains which releases count as Tier 1.
Prohibited practices
MFFU's fair-play article lists:
- Exploiting simulated fills, including tight brackets and the lack of slippage.
- Multiple limit orders at the same price to manipulate fills.
- Profiting from stale or isolated fills in illiquid contracts or quiet hours.
- Hedging, such as being long NQ and short MNQ at the same time.
- Coordinating identical or opposite trades across unconnected accounts.
- Copy trading between traders, and sharing a device with another trader.
- High-frequency trading on any plan.
Automated strategies are allowed if they are your own and don't aim to exploit sim fills. Consequences range from confiscated profits to termination, and passed evaluations may be reviewed. The Pro plan page also flags maxing contracts on every trade, contract flipping and erratic sizing.
Payouts step by step
| Plan | Frequency | Minimum | Buffer (50K) | Split |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Rapid | Daily; first one 24 hours after first funded trade | $500 | $2,100 | 90/10 |
| Rapid EOD | Daily, with $500 net profit since last payout | $500 | $2,100 | 90/10 |
| Pro | 14 days from first trade or once buffer cleared, whichever is later | $1,000 | $2,100 | 80/20 |
| Builder | Every 48 hours, max $2,000 per cycle | $500 | $2,100 | 80/20 |
- Build realized profit above your plan's buffer ($1,100 / $2,100 / $3,100 / $4,600 by size on Rapid).
- Meet the timing rule for your plan, plus Builder's 50% consistency and two qualifying days.
- Request the payout from your MFFU dashboard.
- MFFU says most Rapid payouts are approved automatically; those sent for manual review can take up to 24 business hours.
Builder traders move to a live account after their fifth approved sim payout. Pro traders can be reviewed for live after three consecutive payouts on the same account. See how these speeds compare on our fastest-paying prop firms list.
Common ways traders fail
- Treating funded Rapid like the evaluation. The drawdown switches to intraday trailing, so open profit you give back still costs you room.
- Trading Tier 1 news on a funded account. It is restricted on Rapid and Pro funded accounts.
- Underestimating Rapid EOD's 30% rule. One strong day can push the total you need well above the $3,000 target.
- Going inactive on Pro or Builder. Seven calendar days without a trade can close the account.
- Hedging micros against minis. Long NQ with short MNQ counts as hedging.
- Exceeding the contract limit. MFFU says it can breach the account.

Frequently asked questions
What is the MFFU consistency rule?
It depends on the plan: 50% on Rapid and Pro evaluations, 30% on Rapid EOD evaluations, and 50% at the payout stage on Builder. Rapid, Rapid EOD and Pro funded accounts have none.
Is MFFU's drawdown end-of-day?
Yes in every evaluation. Once funded, Rapid switches to intraday trailing, while Rapid EOD, Pro and Builder stay end-of-day.
Does My Funded Futures have a daily loss limit?
Only Builder, as a soft limit that pauses trading for the session. Rapid, Rapid EOD and Pro have none.
Can I trade news with MFFU?
It depends on the plan and stage. Rapid and Pro funded accounts can't trade Tier 1 releases. Builder allows news trading.
Can I hold trades overnight?
Not on Rapid, whose plan page says positions must be closed before the daily session close. Other plan pages don't say, so confirm with MFFU.
How fast does MFFU pay?
Rapid and Rapid EOD pay daily once the buffer is met, Builder every 48 hours, and Pro after at least 14 days.
