How We Rank

How We Rank Prop Firms and Brokers

Every FP Score comes from the same weighted criteria, applied to data we can verify on the company's own website. Affiliate deals and sponsorships never change a score or a ranking.

What the FP Score is (and isn't)

The FP Score is a 0–10 rating calculated by the FuturesPro editorial team. It is not an average of user reviews, and we don't publish star ratings or review counts we haven't collected ourselves.

Where our data comes from

  • Prop firm rules and prices: each firm's own website and help center.
  • Broker pricing: each broker's own pricing and fee pages.
  • Contract specifications: CME Group rulebooks, fact cards and specification pages.

Every review shows the date we last checked the data and links to its sources. If we can't confirm something from an official source, we say "not verified" rather than guess, and a firm with too many gaps is held back from the rankings until we can verify it.

How affiliate relationships are handled

FuturesPro is funded by affiliate referrals, advertising and sponsorships. Scores are calculated before and independently of any commercial relationship. A firm cannot pay to change its score or position. Partner firms carry an "Affiliate partner" label, and paid placements carry a "Sponsored" label. FuturesPro has no ownership ties to any firm or broker we review. See our affiliate disclosure and advertising policy.

Updates and corrections

Prop firms and brokers change their terms often. We recheck listed firms regularly and update the "data verified on" date when we do. Spotted something out of date? Tell us and we'll check it against the official source.
