Earn2Trade's Gauntlet Mini is a single-stage evaluation with an end-of-day drawdown and no minimum trading days. Its stricter parts are a daily loss limit that fails the evaluation, a 30% consistency rule, a hard close-out every afternoon and a profit split that depends on how much you withdraw at once. This guide explains each rule as Earn2Trade's help center showed it on November 3, 2026, using the 50K Gauntlet Mini for dollar examples. For prices and our verdict, see the Earn2Trade review.

Earn2Trade's Gauntlet Mini page did not load for us today, so the 50K figures come from our review, which was checked against it today. The 100K, 150K and 200K accounts follow the same rules with their own amounts.
Maximum drawdown
Earn2Trade sets a minimum balance from your end-of-day balance. A $100 end-of-day profit raises the next day's minimum by $100. Intraday swings in open profit don't move it.
Worked example: Gauntlet Mini 50K
- You start at $50,000 with a $2,000 drawdown, so the minimum balance is $48,000.
- Day 1 closes at $50,600. The minimum rises to $48,600.
- Day 2 closes at $50,200. The minimum stays at $48,600.
- Day 3 you need to stay above $48,600 all session. Reaching or dipping below it ends the attempt.
Earn2Trade's drawdown article does not publish a level at which the minimum stops rising, so don't assume it locks at your starting balance. LiveSim accounts keep the end-of-day drawdown. Live accounts switch to a trailing drawdown, except the TCP $200K and $400K accounts, which use a fixed drawdown. Track your room with our trailing drawdown calculator and see EOD vs intraday trailing drawdown for how the two styles differ.
Daily loss limit
This is the rule that ends most attempts. The 50K Gauntlet Mini's daily loss limit is $1,100. It is measured on total P&L for the day, covering open trades, closed trades and commissions, from the balance you started the day with. The day runs 5:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. CT.
Open losses count. If your P&L touches -$1,100, even on a position you haven't closed, the evaluation fails and you must reset. Earn2Trade's own example: a trade that is up $500 and later closed at -$100 leaves the day at -$100, which is fine. LiveSim and Live accounts also carry a daily loss limit that must not be breached. Use our daily loss calculator to size trades so one stop-out can't take you near the line.
Consistency rule
During the evaluation, no single day can account for 30% or more of your total profit. On a $3,000 target, that means a best day under $900. If one day is bigger, divide it by 0.30 to find the total you need. A $1,200 day means you need more than $4,000.
Breaking the rule doesn't fail you; you keep trading until the big day falls below 30%. Daily P&L counts whether your balance is above or below the starting balance. The rule does not apply on LiveSim or Live accounts. Our consistency rule guide compares this with other firms.
Minimum trading days
There is no stated minimum. In practice the 30% rule means at least four profitable trading days, which Earn2Trade's evaluation rules article spells out.
Contract limits and scaling
The 50K Gauntlet Mini allows up to 6 contracts, and up to ten micros count as one standard contract. Earn2Trade's old Progression Ladder, which tied size to your balance, now applies only to evaluations, LiveSim and Live accounts bought before November 1, 2026. Later purchases have a fixed maximum. Exceeding the limit is a hard fail that ends the attempt immediately. Our position size calculator helps you stay inside it.
Trading hours, news and overnight
- Close-out: all positions and working orders must be closed by 3:50 p.m. CT and stay closed until the 5:00 p.m. CT open.
- Earlier cutoffs: feeder cattle, lean hogs and live cattle (GF, HE, LE) must be flat from 1:05 p.m. CT. Grains and soy products (ZC, ZS, ZW, ZL, ZM, XC, XK) must be flat from 7:45 to 8:30 a.m. CT and from 1:20 p.m. CT.
- Overnight: not allowed in evaluation or on funded accounts.
- Holidays: no trading on public holidays or when exchanges are closed.
- News: allowed, with no restrictions around economic announcements.

Prohibited practices
Earn2Trade's prohibited conduct article lists:
- Exploiting platform errors or delayed prices.
- Spoofing and other disruptive trading.
- An unrealistic number of contracts in one day.
- Colluding across linked or unrelated accounts, including pooling or hedging risk.
- Software, AI or ultra-fast data entry used for an unfair edge.
- Bypassing geographic or technical restrictions.
- Trading on behalf of others or sharing incentives.
Trade copiers are not allowed on evaluation or funded accounts. Funded accounts can't trade forex, Bitcoin futures or Ether futures. Penalties range from a warning or deleted trading day to a reset or permanent closure.
Payouts step by step
After you pass, Earn2Trade forwards your results to a partner trading firm, which offers a LiveSim or Live account. Non-professional traders pay a one-time $139 LiveSim activation fee, which Earn2Trade deducts from the first withdrawal. Funded accounts have no subscription, no buffer and no consistency rule.
The split depends on the size of each withdrawal, not your total profit:
| Account | Profitable day | 50% split | 80% split |
|---|---|---|---|
| Gauntlet Mini 50K | $150 | Under $2,250 | $2,250 or more |
| Gauntlet Mini 100K | $200 | Under $3,000 | $3,000 or more |
| Gauntlet Mini 150K | $250 | Under $4,000 | $4,000 or more |
| Gauntlet Mini 200K | $350 | Under $5,000 | $5,000 or more |
- Trade five new profitable days that meet your size's threshold. They don't need to be consecutive, and days used for an earlier withdrawal can't be reused.
- Decide the amount. The minimum net withdrawal is $100. On 50K, $2,000 is split 50/50 ($1,000 to you) but $2,500 is split 80/20 ($2,000 to you).
- Email your request to Earn2Trade by 2:00 p.m. CT on Friday.
- Withdrawals are processed weekly on Wednesdays through Rise, Deel or another provider Earn2Trade chooses.
Rise charges $50 per withdrawal outside the US and 1.5% in the US; Deel charges $50. Each Gauntlet Mini LiveSim account has a cumulative withdrawal limit of $5,000, after which it moves to a Live account. Compare payout timing with other firms on our fastest-paying prop firms list.
Common ways traders fail
- Letting an open loser touch the daily limit. It counts unrealized P&L and fails the evaluation instantly.
- Holding past 3:50 p.m. CT. The close-out applies every day, with earlier times for grains and livestock.
- Exceeding the contract limit. It is a hard fail, not a warning.
- One standout day. A big day under the 30% rule can push the total you need well past $3,000.
- Small, frequent withdrawals. Under the split threshold you keep only 50%.
- Using a trade copier. Earn2Trade does not allow them.

Frequently asked questions
Is Earn2Trade's drawdown end-of-day?
Yes in the evaluation and on LiveSim accounts. Live accounts use a trailing drawdown, except the TCP $200K and $400K accounts, which are fixed.
What happens if I hit the daily loss limit?
In the evaluation it fails the attempt and you must reset. It counts open and closed P&L plus commissions.
What is the Earn2Trade consistency rule?
No single day can make up 30% or more of total profit during the evaluation. It doesn't fail you, and it doesn't apply once funded.
Is there a minimum number of trading days?
No stated minimum, but the 30% rule means you need at least four profitable days.
Can I hold trades overnight?
No. Positions must be closed by 3:50 p.m. CT, in evaluation and on funded accounts.
How does the profit split work?
It depends on each withdrawal's size. On 50K, withdrawals under $2,250 are split 50/50 and $2,250 or more are split 80/20.
