The firms in more detail
1. Tradeify
Best if you want one fixed price and your choice of platform. Growth evaluations are one-time purchases ($145 for 50K), with no consistency rule and a one-day minimum. Tradeify supports Tradovate, NinjaTrader, TradingView, several Rithmic platforms and WealthCharts, and says it has no rules against trading news. The downside: Select Flex payout caps were lowered for purchases from September 1, and the drawdown, while end-of-day, is enforced in real time. Read the Tradeify review.
2. My Funded Futures
Best if payout speed matters most. Rapid accounts allow daily payouts once you clear a buffer, and MFFU says most are approved instantly. No plan has an activation fee, and Rapid, Rapid EOD and Pro have no daily loss limit. Watch for two things: Rapid switches to an intraday trailing drawdown once funded, and Rapid and Pro sim-funded accounts must be flat around Tier 1 news. Read the MFFU review.
3. Topstep
Best if you expect to pass quickly and want the cheapest first month. The 50K Combine starts at $49 a month, or $95 with no activation fee. Topstep's rules are detailed and dated, its daily loss limit is optional and soft, and it pays 90/10. New accounts must use TopstepX, and trading around top-tier news is restricted. Read the Topstep review.
4. Alpha Futures
Best if you want no consistency rule in the evaluation. Alpha's Zero plan has none and a one-day minimum, while its Standard and Advanced evaluations have no daily loss limit. Pricing is monthly, and Alpha dropped NinjaTrader and Tradovate in July. Read the Alpha Futures review.
5. TradeDay
Best if you want to choose between end-of-day and intraday drawdown. No activation fee and a 90/10 split on live accounts, but Quick Pay accounts split 50/50 until $4,000 in profit, and evaluations bill monthly until you pass or cancel. Read the TradeDay review.
6. Bulenox
Best if you want a one-time fee and no minimum days. Bulenox offers a choice of real-time trailing (Option 1, no daily loss limit) or end-of-day drawdown (Option 2). Its payout terms weren't published on the pages we checked. Read the Bulenox review.
7. Earn2Trade
Best if you want weekly payouts and allowed news trading. The Gauntlet Mini has an end-of-day drawdown and no minimum days, but costs from $170 a month and pays 50% until $2,250 in profit. Read the Earn2Trade review.

Before you buy
Prop firm evaluations are paid simulated tests and most traders don't pass. Read our lesson on how evaluations work, and check the firm's current rules on its own site, since they change often.
