Tradeify and Alpha Futures both use an end-of-day trailing drawdown, both pay 90% on funded accounts and neither charges an activation fee on its evaluations. The big split is pricing. Tradeify sells one-time evaluations, while Alpha bills monthly, and its pages show the subscription continuing on funded ("Qualified") accounts. This comparison uses each firm's official site and help center as checked on November 3, 2026.

Quick verdict

  • Choose Tradeify if you want to pay once and know your maximum cost, use NinjaTrader, Tradovate or a Rithmic platform, or want a no-consistency evaluation with no ongoing fee (Growth).
  • Choose Alpha Futures if you expect to pass quickly, use AlphaTrader, DeepChart or WealthCharts, or want the very large per-request payout cap on its Advanced tier.

Prices are regular prices before promotions. Alpha's own pages list two different prices for Zero 50K ($169 and $139).

Cost

Tradeify's 50K Growth evaluation costs $145 and Select costs $165, paid once. Resets cost $95 and $109. Alpha's 50K tiers cost $129 (Standard), $169 (Zero) or $209 (Advanced) a month, and Zero 25K is $89 a month.

If you pass Alpha Standard in a single month, you pay $129, which is less than either Tradeify 50K plan. If it takes two months, you pay $258, which is more than both. Alpha also shows the same monthly price on Qualified accounts, so the cost keeps running while you trade funded. Tradeify has no ongoing fee once you pass. Our evaluation cost calculator lets you compare one-time and monthly pricing over your own timeline.

Rules

Drawdown

Both firms use an end-of-day trailing drawdown that is enforced in real time, so open equity touching the line still breaches the account. Both stop trailing near the starting balance. Tradeify's funded Select accounts lock at $100 above the start once a trigger is reached ($52,100 on 50K), and Alpha's limit locks at the starting balance. On 50K, both start $2,000 below the balance, except Alpha Advanced at $1,750.

Daily loss limit

Tradeify Growth has a soft daily limit ($1,250 on 50K) that pauses trading without failing the account. Select has none in evaluation, Select Flex has none once funded, and Select Daily adds one. Alpha Zero has a $1,000 daily guard on 50K in both stages, Standard has none in evaluation but adds one once Qualified, and Advanced has none at all.

Consistency and minimum days

Tradeify Growth and Alpha Zero both have no evaluation consistency rule and a one-day minimum. Tradeify Select uses 40% in evaluation only, so the funded account has no consistency rule. Alpha Standard uses 50% and Advanced 40% in evaluation, and Zero and Standard Qualified accounts then apply a 40% rule. Alpha Advanced Qualified has none.

Trading hours

Tradeify positions must be closed by 4:45 p.m. ET, with no weekend holding. Alpha's pages did not cover overnight holding, so check with Alpha first.

Payouts

Tradeify pays 90/10 on sim funded accounts. Select Flex allows a request every five winning days ($150 a day on 50K), up to 50% of profit, with a $250 minimum and a $2,500 cap on 50K accounts bought from September 1, 2026. Select Daily allows daily requests above a $2,100 buffer on 50K, capped at $1,250. Growth needs five profitable days.

Alpha pays 90% from the first payout. You need five winning days of $200 or more per request, up to four a month, each up to 50% of profit. Caps on 50K are $1,500 (Zero), $3,000 (Standard) and $15,000 (Advanced). Alpha says approved payouts are paid within five business days, while Tradeify says requests are usually processed within 24 hours after Rise onboarding.

Platforms

Tradeify offers Tradovate (with NinjaTrader and TradingView), Rithmic (Tradesea, Quantower, Sierra Chart, R|Trader) and WealthCharts. Alpha offers AlphaTrader, TradingView via Plus500, WealthCharts, DeepChart and Quantower. NinjaTrader and Tradovate are not on Alpha's current list. Both firms tie your platform or connection to the account you buy.

Who each firm suits

Tradeify

Tradeify suits day traders who want a fixed, one-off cost and broad platform choice, and who flatten before the 4:45 p.m. ET cutoff. It is our highest-scoring firm at 8.3 out of 10.

Alpha Futures

Alpha suits traders who expect a short evaluation, like a tiered choice and want a flat 90% split, with Advanced aimed at experienced traders seeking large withdrawals. It scores 6.7 out of 10, held back by ongoing monthly fees and conflicting prices on its own pages.
