My Funded Futures (MFFU) and Alpha Futures both offer several evaluation tiers with no activation fee, but they charge in different ways. MFFU sells one-time evaluations. Alpha, a UK-based firm, charges a monthly subscription that its pages show continuing on funded ("Qualified") accounts. This comparison uses each firm's official site and help center as checked on November 3, 2026.
Quick verdict
- Choose My Funded Futures if you want to pay once, use NinjaTrader or Tradovate, or want daily payouts on its Rapid plans.
- Choose Alpha Futures if you want a flat 90% split on every Qualified plan, an end-of-day drawdown that locks at your starting balance, or the large $15,000 payout cap on Advanced.
Which suits you depends mainly on how long you expect to take to pass and which platform you use.

Prices are regular prices before promotions. Alpha's own pages list two different prices for Zero 50K ($169 and $139), so check checkout.
Cost
MFFU's 50K plans cost $153 (Builder), $209 (Rapid), $225 (Rapid EOD) or $265 (Pro), each paid once with no renewals. Alpha's 50K tiers cost $129 (Standard), $169 (Zero) or $209 (Advanced) a month, and its cheapest account is Zero 25K at $89 a month.
Time is the key variable. If you pass Alpha Standard 50K in one month, you pay $129, which is less than any MFFU 50K plan. If it takes three months, you pay $387, which is more than any of them. Alpha's pages also show the same monthly price continuing on the Qualified account after you pass, so the subscription does not stop when the evaluation ends. Our evaluation cost calculator lets you model both pricing styles over the months you expect to need.
Rules
Drawdown
Alpha uses an end-of-day trailing maximum loss limit on every account. It trails your closing high and stops trailing once it reaches the starting balance. Floating losses still count, so open equity touching the line breaches the account. MFFU's Rapid EOD, Pro and Builder plans also use an EOD drawdown. MFFU Rapid switches to an intraday trailing drawdown once funded, which follows open profits in real time.
Daily loss limit
MFFU Rapid, Rapid EOD and Pro have no daily loss limit, and Builder has a soft limit that pauses trading ($1,000 on 50K). Alpha's rules vary by tier. Zero has a daily loss guard ($1,000 on 50K) in both stages. Standard has none in evaluation but adds one on Qualified accounts. Advanced has none in either stage.
Consistency and minimum days
MFFU applies 50% in evaluation on Rapid and Pro, 30% on Rapid EOD and 50% at the payout stage on Builder. Minimum days run from one (Builder) to four (Rapid EOD). Alpha's Zero evaluation has no consistency rule and a one-day minimum, Standard uses 50% with two days and Advanced uses 40% with three. Once Qualified, Zero and Standard accounts use a 40% rule, while Advanced has none.
Payouts
MFFU pays 90/10 on Rapid and Rapid EOD with daily requests once the buffer is met ($500 minimum), 80/20 on Builder every 48 hours, and 80/20 on Pro after at least 14 days ($1,000 minimum). The 50K buffer is $2,100 on these plans.
Alpha pays 90% from the first payout on all Qualified accounts. You can request a payout after every five winning days of $200 or more, up to four times a month, taking up to 50% of profit each time. Caps on 50K are $1,500 (Zero), $3,000 (Standard) and $15,000 (Advanced). Alpha says approved payouts are currently paid within five business days.
In short, MFFU offers faster access on Rapid plans, while Alpha offers a higher split than MFFU's Pro and Builder and a much larger cap on Advanced.
Platforms
This may decide it for many traders. MFFU supports NinjaTrader, Tradovate, TradingView, Quantower, Hyperprop, Volumetrica, DeepChart and ATAS. Alpha supports AlphaTrader (its own platform), TradingView through Plus500, WealthCharts, DeepChart and Quantower. NinjaTrader and Tradovate are not on Alpha's current list, and Alpha says your platform choice cannot be switched after purchase.
Who each firm suits
My Funded Futures
MFFU suits traders who want a known, one-off cost, who rely on NinjaTrader, Tradovate or ATAS, and who want to pick their own mix of drawdown style, payout speed and split. It scores 7.7 out of 10 in our rankings.
Alpha Futures
Alpha suits traders who expect to pass quickly, want an EOD drawdown everywhere and value a flat 90% split. The Zero tier fits traders who want a low entry price and no evaluation consistency rule. Advanced fits experienced traders aiming for large withdrawals. It scores 6.7 out of 10, held back by ongoing monthly fees, conflicting prices on its own pages and a narrower platform list.
